As a general policy, Health Connective always adopts the policies and procedures of our customers to meet their compliance needs. We also do the following things as part of our own policies and procedures:
Following established cybersecurity framework
We follow the National Institute of Standards & Technologies (NIST) cybersecurity framework. The NIST framework helps our team follow strong security standards in all of our work, and covers the majority of our clients’ needs for cybersecurity.
HIPAA compliance training for all team members
All of our team members complete annual HIPAA compliance training through Compliancy Group. We also use their software to document our internal policies and processes, which can be helpful in the event of an audit.
Assembling documentation for our customers
Our team frequently puts together documentation for our customers for software that we have built. This ensures that our customers have all of the information they need for regulatory review.
Protecting sensitive data
We employ end to end encryption for network traffic. We also encode sensitive data–it is never stored in plain text.
